Interesting Day at Work - 2006 AARP Member Event
Work gave the employees the opportunities to go to the 2006 AARP National Event in Anaheim and enjoy what had to be offered and learn what the members’ experience.
First there was the open ceremony and we listened. Dan Rather was humorous and enjoyable. That lasted until it was lunchtime.
I went out in front of the convention center to enjoy the warmth of the sun.
Now it was time to explore the exhibition hall.
There was a NASCAR simulator and I enjoyed going around the track (watching the screen.)
The exhibits were from a wide range of items like health, travel, products, and information. Some of the exhibits had live animals, which shock me; I would not have expected that. I did get more information for the Alaska trip that I am planning in 2007.
It was getting close to the end of our time at the convention so I went back to the NASA exhibit and enjoyed the conversation I had with a JPL guy and also have the rover type device run over my foot.

Walking - Dreaming - Requirements
Today we went to the RV show at the LA County Fair Grounds. We were just looking at several different things. Truly we are just looking. We still have about 7 years before we trade in the current RV and upgrade to a bigger RV. But we wanted to start our list of requirements and of course dream about the expensive ones.
O - we also did our weekly round dance class.

Last Blast Class for 2006
The class was the last of the four classes. We have about five people that will graduate from the class (Mainstream and Plus). We will start another series starting in January and ending in the first weekend of April (7th). Just in time for 48th California State Square Dance Convention the following weekend in Riverside.
O I guess nobody really wants to know about the guy on the fence. (see prior post).

Normal Weekend - SQ Stuff, But NOT a Normal Visitor
We seem to have the normal weekend of Square Dancing.
Saturday was another Blast Class. The class was learning the first half of Plus.
Saturday night I was giving the dogs their last time out to take care of business and I spotted this guy on the neighbors fence.
I know it is blurry, but can you tell what it might be?
Sunday nothing special, but we did have our weekly Round Dance class.
